Our client is looking to fill a key and exciting new role in its business. They are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their IT team. In this role you will manage the development and maintenance of the company’s CRM environment. The successful candidate will work with other members of the sales teams, together within the Information Technology Team to bring ideas to fruition. This person will be responsible for maintaining and updating (both design & development related) the collections and sales functions within SalesForce and will be the point person for planning, developing, and deploying any new custom code as needed. The successful candidate must have an excellent understanding of the best SalesForce practices, be focused on creating user-friendly interactive experiences and possess excellent communication skills.

Skills Required:

  • 3 – 6 years of experience with SalesForce and developing on the SFDC platform
  • 3+ years of professional IT/Engineering experience required with demonstrated development and design experience (Java experience preferred) (beneficial)
  • 2+ years of experience in, Visual force and the Apex programming language (*SFDC Developer Certification preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in configuration & customization including and not limited to workflows, S-controls, data validations & triggers
  • 1 + years of experience in programming in AJAX, JavaScript (beneficial)
  • Expert knowledge of relational databases and data modeling including SOQL, SOSL query language
  • Experience using the data loader, ETL tools and handling data migration assignments
  • Proficiency in SOAP services
  • Strong working knowledge of APEX (classes and web services), Visual Force, SalesForce APIs, SQL, platform
  • Demonstrated experience building integrations with salesforce
  • Solid understanding of relational database and SOA concepts
  • Must have deployed at least two projects – end to end implementation experience preferred
  • and API development experience
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively communicate specific, detailed tasks to various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated understanding of the entire scope of complex CRM solutions
  • Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies (plus)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
